Step into the Phygital Universe: A Gateway to Design and Imagination
Discover Phygital Universe, an innovative art installation by Yury Goncharov, unveiled at Interior Design Show 2023 in Toronto. This striking exhibit served as a vivid portal, transporting visitors from the routine of everyday life into the enchanting world of interior design and artistic beauty.
Inspired by the Memphis Group, founded in 1980 in Milan by Ettore Sottsass and featuring visionary designers like Michele De Lucchi, Matteo Thun, and Barbara Radice, the installation embraces bold geometry, playful asymmetry, and unconventional color combinations. Much like the Memphis movement, Phygital Universe celebrates the fusion of form and function, blurring the boundaries between the physical and digital realms.
